Schools

The use of Granab in schools brings alot of benefits, not least in projects linked to moisture or mould damage. Our systems for this type of project are made of galvanised steel and are consistently made of non-organic material, which is necessary for this type of project. With easy height adjustment of the subfloor system, it adapts to your project while continuously ventilating the air between the concrete or CLT and the floorboards.

Granab also brings a number of advantages when it comes to new school construction. Replacing screeds and casted subfloors with Granab means a dry installation without drying times. On top of this, you get a significantly lower environmental impact.

38mm chipboard with carpet is commonly used in schools.

Schools belong to room category B according to EN Eurocodes load category requirements.

This means that a 38mm chipboard or 2x22mm chipboards are required to meet the load category requirement.

Ventilated subfloor

Granab in combination with mechanical ventilation allows you to effectively ventilate away any moisture and emissions from the floor.

Granab also offers a wall-mounted ventilation grille. It is a common solution for ventilated subfloors in schools.

The air is spread over the slab surface by means of perforated ducts placed on the slab.

The fans offered by Granab are approved by Byggvarubedömningen.
