Granabs unique dampening element of sylodyn allow us to design a customised system that effectively takes into account both load requirements and natural frequency. The Granab system is particularly well suited to cinemas where there are high requirements for structure-borne sound insulation.
With a relatively heavy floor structure above Granab, a low natural frequency can be achieved and capacity for additional load is obtained. If the additional load is very high in relation to the dead weight of the floor, the set-up frequency in an empty room may be more difficult to bring down to the desired frequency. In this case, a heavier upper floor may be the solution.
