Sports hall, Nacka Strand
New construction of a sports hall
In mid-2024, Granab had the honour of delivering systems 9000 ND50 Sport and 7000N to the Campus Halls in Nacka Strand. The reason why they chose to use Granab was because they wanted an subfloor that could also meet the sound requirements. Since the sports halls are located at the top of the property, they wanted to ensure a good sound level in the underlying floors activities.
Due to the high sound requirements of the halls, Granab chose to design S-9000N ND50, which in combination with the overlying floorboards can handle a natural frequency of 10 Hz.
In smaller areas between and beside the halls, Granab S-7000N12 was installed.

We collaborated with Granab to build an insulated floor for a sports hall on the 6th floor in Nacka Strand. With high demands on acoustic preformance and impact sound due to other activities in the building, a solution was developed that has maintained very good quality and we at Nordisk Byggentreprenad are very pleased with the result and the process.
