Renovation and extension of a school – CLT

In April 2024, Granab had the honour of supplying subfloor systems for the reconstruction and extension of Ås school in Krokom. The new school will accommodate 620 children.

With a frame in CLT, it was chosen to combine the floor with Granab S-8000W25, which is a commonly used system with CLT frame. Cross-laminated timber floors almost always require 25 mm damping elements of sylodyn to fulfil the acoustic requirements.
