Agnes Cultural Centre
New construction of podcasting studios, cinema and event hall
In mid-October 2023, Granab had the privilege of delivering systems 9000N and 7000N to Agnes Cultural centre in Gävle. The reason for choosing Granab was due to the high acoustic requirements in a cinema and in two podcast studios.
At a later date, it was also decided to use mechanical ventilation both in the floors and in the outer walls, which Granab developed a solution for and delivered.
In the cinema, there were additional loads due to the seating, cinema screen and baffle walls, which meant that Granab developed a custom solution for the cinema with different system structures depending on the loads that affected the girders.
Due to the different loads in different areas in the cinema, it was decided to design unique systems for each area. under the baffle walls, under the blechers and under the cinema screen were thus given unique combinations of Granabss subfloor systems to effectively meet all requirements.
