Nobelberget Kv.7 (Stockholm Wood City)
New construction of apartment building – CLT
During 2024-2025, Granab had the privilege of delivering subfloor systems to Nobelberget Kvarter 7. The project is part of the world’s largest wooden city block, Stockholm Wood City.
The buildings in Kvarter 7 use different thicknesses of CLT for different parts of the buildings. To allow for the most efficient installation of the Granab, the adjustment screws for the subfloor system were pre-cut. This meant that the installers did not have to cut the adjusting screws on site, but could efficiently install the subfloor system to the same level, despite the different thicknesses of the CLT.
With a lot of installations on the CLT, Granab subfloor systems were customised already at the design stage to avoid collisions and to ensure a quick installation.
Granab’s girders are always delivered pre-cut from our factory unless otherwise agreed.
