New school construction – CLT
In 2023-2024, Granab had the honour of supplying the subfloor system for the new Kvarngärdes School in Uppsala.
Since they had chosen to use cross-laminated timber as the frame material, Granab S-7000N25 was designed. The system enables 25mm sylodyn as a dampening element, which is often required in combination with a CLT floor to meet the acoustic requirements.
