Karlatornet
New construction of apartment – the tallest building in the Nordic region
During 2022-2024, Granab had the privilege of delivering subfloor systems to the tallest building in the Nordic region, Karlatornet in Gothenburg. In the 250m high building, Granab was installed on all floors and the system they chose to use was S-3000N12. This was because the building height of the floor structure had to be very low. The reason for choosing Granab was also to ensure a dry installation and thus get a fast and safe progress of the project.
In addition to the material for the apartments, we also delivered subfloor systems to hotels, offices, restaurants and gyms in the building.
Granab delivered girders to one floor a week for a total of 74 floors.
