Villas
Every year, many houses suffer from moisture damage in the basement or from elevated moisture levels in the foundation. To have healthy houses, it is important that moisture from the concrete foundation is ventilated and not built into the floor structure. In addition to a possible re-draining of the soil around the foundation, wooden floor joists or any plastic mats installed or laid directly on the basement floor must be removed and the concrete floors dried out.

The Granab system is an excellent choice for renovations linked to moisture or mould damage. Our systems for this type of project are made of galvanized steel and are consistently made of non-organic material, which is necessary for this type of project. With an easy height adjustment of the subfloor system, it’s adapted to your home while continuously ventilating the air in the space between the concrete and floorboards. It is easy to install and has many positive advantages compared to subfloor systems made of organic material. Below you can see a video of how our solution works in practice.

S-3000N12
Many people who choose Granab for their homes have encountered moisture and/or mould damage during renovation work. Since there are no sound requirements in a basement, there is no need to use sylodyn as a dampening material, therefore it’s possible to choose a more cost-effective alternative, moulded plastic as dampening element. S-3000N builds as low as 30mm which allows you to maintain a reasonable ceiling height. Granab has systems that are completely inorganic, which is ideal for spaces with increased moisture content and in combination with Granabs mechanical floor ventilation, you can be sure that you have the best solution on the market.
Ventilated subfloor
Granab in combination with mechanical ventilation allows you to effectively ventilate away any moisture and emissions from the floor.
Granab also offers a wall-mounted ventilation grille. It is a common solution for ventilated subfloors in schools.
The air is spread over the slab surface by means of perforated ducts placed on the slab.

The fans offered by Granab are approved by Byggvarubedömningen.
The air in the floor construction flows over the slab surface to a perforated duct connected to an exhaust fan.
