New construction of an office – CLT
In mid-2024, Granab had the privilege of delivering systems 7000N12 and 7000N25 to floors 11-13 for the office of Arvid Nordquist’s new coffee roastery in Järfälla municipality.
The reason for using two different systems was that they chose to use two different types of slabs. To meet the acoustic requirements between the floors, Granab chose to design S-7000N25 where it is CLT, and S-7000N12 where it is a concrete slab.
In order to effectively meet RO-Gruppen’s wishes to get the Granab material delivered in stages, Granab designed according to an agreed zoning. This meant that each pallet was labelled with a specific zone name, which enabled efficient material handling on the construction site.
Working with Granab is a pleasure, the contact with their sales and contact persons is personal and professional. They are solution-oriented and go the extra mile to solve problems. For example, they come up with solutions at meetings for various acoustic requirements and floor structures, which our acoustic engineer approves. This was important for us when the building’s concrete and wooden frame meet each other with high demands on acoustics.
With pre-cut girders, the Granab system was installed with ease and the transports followed the agreed delivery schedule.
