Andel-Villa
New construction of villa – CLT

In 2022, Granab had the honour of supplying subfloor system to a villa in Andel, the Netherlands with high environmental requirements. Our client Nido Projecten aimed to maximise the use of circular and biobased materials and get the highest possible energy efficiency rating.
The use of our reusable subfloor system S-7000N25 facilitated the achievement of the environmental and acoustic requirements of the project.

Check out this article about the acoustic performance of this wooden villa in Andel.
It has been a couple of years since we first reached out to Granab for our pilot projects.
As a company specializing in mass timber construction with CLT, details like where installations such as ventilation ducts pass through and over the floor, as well as acoustic performance, are always a challenge.
Because the Granab subfloor sytem provides excellent acoustic reduction as well as suitable space for installations, and the Granab-team provides helpful engineering from early on in the process, it has become our go-to solution for CLT houses that have a heat recovery unit (WTW).
