Mechanical room

With Granabs unique dampening element of sylodyn, we can design a customised system that takes into account both load requirements and acoustics requirements. The system is ideal for mechanical rooms where there are often installations in the floor construction and locally places drainage.

Commonly used systems in mechanical rooms

  • Common floor construction in mechanical rooms:

    plastic mat, 22/38 chipboard, S-7000N12

  • Suggested detail:

    Local drainage under a fan.

  • Granab assembly kit.

For floor drains, floor boxes for electrical installations etc.

  • Floor gully on top of Granab assembly kit.

Raised floors

Granab in combination with a system of masonite beams makes it possible to achieve the desired building height even with extremely high floor structures.

The height of the masonite beams is determined by the desired building height.

Regardless of the concrete or CLT floor, Granab is ideal.

Plastic mat and 22/38mm chipboards are common in mechanical rooms.

Which Granab system to be used depends, among other things, on the sound requirement.
